The language and culture center provided by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) was founded to support the development of ITS student language skills as well as foreign students studying at ITS. ITS Language Center develops the most efficient and effective language teaching program in accordance with the needs and abilities of the participants, to conduct language researchers both in the field of pure and applied linguistics, and to establish a network of communication and cooperation in the field of language teaching with higher education institutions.UPT language and ITS culture as the central language and culture for ITS students provide a wide range of services including English language courses that comprise English Specific Purpose (ESP), Writing, Conversation English for Employee, Intensive Course (IC) and T-Prep, Conversation, Bridging, General English, English for Children and EIC Preparation programs. For Bahasa Indonesia, UPT language and culture courses provide Indonesian language courses for Survival (BIS), and Bahasa Indonesia for Academic Purpose (BIAP) programs. Other foreign language courses include Japanese, German, Arabic, French, Mandarin, and Korean language programs.Not only that, the central language and the culture at ITS also provide services various types of tests include CLCPT, TPOEFL (Foreign Language test), EFL, IELPT, EIC, TOEIC, ITP, EFL certificate, Legalisir Service, Certificate of foreign language Other, certificates conversion, ITP certificate, Supply and TKBI Serdos, and TKBI Serdos. Also provide per-semester SAR service and translations of Indonesia-foreign language-Indonesia, Indonesia-foreign language translation-Indonesia (sworn translator), Interpreter, and Proofreading service.As a language and culture center at ITS, various facilities and supporting infrastructures are also provided. Among them are the course and test room, Musholla, gazebo, cooking room, self-study room (SAR), toilet, and parking lot.
