The Latest Publications from ITS Researchers

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a highly productive college in producing scientific research and publications. Based on frequently-updated data by Scopus, by 2017, the number of scholarly publications of Scopus-indexed of ITS researchers reaches more than 2700 documents. The figure ranked ITS in the fifth in Indonesia as a university with the highest scientific publications indexed by Scopus. In the 50 Indonesian Scientific Institution Power report or Kekuatan 50 Institusi Ilmiah Indonesia, published by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, ITS also ranked second in Indonesia in Scopus-indexed scientific publication speed. Besides the faculty and graduate students, the undergraduate students at ITS are also encouraged to publish their research in scientific journals, both at the national and international levels. As part of graduation requirements, Final Project of undergraduate students at ITS is published in the Online Scientific Publication ITS Student or Publikasi Ilmiah Online Mahasiswa ITS (POMITS), which consists of Jurnal Sains dan Seni ITS and Jurnal Teknik ITS. In addition, there is also an ITS Repository which becomes a pre-print container for scientific work of ITS students before published in accredited scientific journals.


Operated Journals of ITS

In addition to publishing research, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopemeber (ITS) also operates and publishes accredited scientific journals. In 2017, there are a total of 35 scientific journals operated and published by ITS under the Center for Scientific Publication, Directorate of Research and Community Service (DRPM). Some of these journals have been indexed globally, such as by Google Scholars, IPI, and Crossref. Some journals even become official publications of the Indonesian scientific community in certain scientific fields, such as the Indonesian Chemical Society.
