A domain is a unique name or address used to access a service on the internet. It allows users to access websites and online services easily without having to remember the server’s IP (Internet Protocol) address.
At Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), the Directorate of Information Technology and Systems Development (DPTSI) provides domain, web hosting, Virtual Private Server (VPS), and colocation server services free of charge to ITS organizational units and members of the ITS academic community. These services are intended to support the deployment and management of websites within ITS in an integrated manner.
