Eduroam (education roaming) is a wireless service (WiFi) that applies globally in universities and research institutions. Through the Eduroam connection, students, lecturers and educational staff can access the internet safely and for free when visiting universities/other institutions that have joined Eduroam, both at home and abroad. ITS academics can use their myITS email account and password to connect.
On the other hand, guests from other Eduroam institutions can access the internet via the ITS network by using the username and password from their home institution when they are at ITS.
Currently, Eduroam services are available in thousands of universities in the world, in Indonesia there are around 36 universities where Eduroam is available.
