In the 2023 – 2024 academic year, ITS is again opening opportunities for prospective students by officially opening registration for a new and first study program in Indonesia, the Digital Innovation Study Program (Prodi iD). This study program is a development of the information systems study program, this study program is under the auspices of the Information Systems Department (DSi), Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (FT-EIC). This study program was initiated to facilitate the student’s growth in digital business. The iD Study Program focuses on science to create, distribute and commercialize digital products.
This study program will produce computer graduates (S.Kom) with graduate profiles of Digital Business Pioneers, Digital Product Creators, and Growth Hackers. The determination of this graduate profile is based on Scientific Vision which refers to the values of ITS and SWOT of the ITS Information Systems Department, as well as Market Signals which capture market needs for study program graduates.
It is hoped that this digital innovation undergraduate computer program can meet creative human resources in the direction of creating, distributing, and commercializing new products from digital technology, so that they become pioneers in increasing operational efficiency, encouraging customer involvement, or developing innovative products or services. in various startups, institutions, organizations, and/or national and international companies.
Combining academic programs, startup business acceleration, and real-world experience, this study program is expected to be a mentor and help students realize their digital business dreams. Because in the midst of technological uncertainty in the future, students will be fostered to be able to adapt, think creatively, find solutions, and achieve what they dream of. Full support is also obtained from the Department of Business Management and the Department of Information Systems in terms of teaching, budget, and facilities.
