Vision and Mission


Faculty of Vocational Studies becomes Outstanding Faculty on Applied Technologies and Science in Indonesia., mostly to support industrial and maritime Development caring of environment through vocational studies.


  1. Coordinating, fostering and encouraging faculty elements in management process of diploma, applied master’s and applied doctoral degrees in order to produce graduates who are excellent in morality, technopreneurship spirit, certified skill, and able to compete in global markets;
  2. Coordinating, fostering and encouraging faculty elements in the implementation of applied research and industrial case in the field of applied technology and science that support the development of environmentally friendly industries and maritime through vocational channels; and
  3. Coordinating, fostering and encouraging faculty elements in networking with stakeholders in the framework of institutional development and participation through vocational channels in solving real problems in the industrial and community world.



The Faculty of Vocational is the winner of various sports competitions in the 58th ITS Anniversary

ITS emerged as the General Champion in various sports competitions in the framework of the 58th ITS Anniversary in 2018.


Civil Infrastructure Engineering students won the Civil Engineering Scope Arc Competition at UGM

Good news comes from the Department of Civil Infrastructure Engineering (DTIS). DTIS students won first place in the Civil Technical Scope Arc Competition at UGM on October 28, 2018.


Comparative Study with Faculty of Vocational ITS 2018

The University of Indonesia's vocational program, which was formed in 2008, has been able to build 47 billion of its own buildings as a result of educational efficiency. The UI Vocational Program is divided into 3 (three) areas of expertise, namely Health, Social Humanities, and Business Administration which are in charge of 11 Diploma (D-III) Study Programs.


Electric Car

The Nogogeni V car by students of the November 10 Institute of Technology (ITS) ranked first in the East Java Automotive Festival (JOFEST). Cars made by the Nogogeni ITS team won in the Motor Vehicle Alternative Innovation category. This award was received as a form of appreciation from the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) for creative people in the field of auto-aftermarket industry in East Java on Monday (15/9) at Grand City.

Vocational Faculty Work Conference

The 2018 Vocational Faculty work meeting was held on September 8, 2018 at the Haris Hotel, Jl. Raya Gubeng Surabaya.The work meeting was attended by Deans, Deputy Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Head of Study Programs, Head of Departments, Head of Subdivisions, as well as ITS Vocational Faculty staff, with discussion of Work Programs within the ITS Vocational Faculty environment.

Kegiatan Akademik Unggulan DTIS

General Champion of KJI, General Champion of KBGI, Champion of 1.2.3 National level students competition. The annual event is “Devillage”, a national competition for the high school category, and students for the promotion of DTIS

One of the world’s leading energy efficiency competitions

Shell Eco-marathon is a unique global programme, for science, technology, engineering and maths students to design and build ultra-energy-efficient cars, and then take them out on the track in competition.


In organizing vocational education at ITS, the Faculty of Vocations conducted various collaborations in the fields of education, research and community service.
