Meeting held in Electics office
Monday, November 11 2022 Universiti Teknologi Petronas, or UTP paid a visit to the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Techonolgy. This visit is one of the agendas in supporting the collaboration between F-Electics ITS and UTP. This collaboration has been established for almost two years for several exchange programs and especially in the double degree program for F-Electics students.
The arrival of UTP was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology. The visit was welcomed by the Deputy Dean of F-Electics ITS who was accompanied by several departmental lecturers in the F-Electics ITS environment. This visiting meeting discussed the continuation of cooperation for the Double Degree Program as well as a description of the details of other programs that could be participated in such as Research Attachment Programs, Research Collaboration, and others.
So far, three departments have collaborated with UTP, namely the Department of Geophysics Engineering, the Department of Informatics Engineering, and the Department of Information Systems. Several students have continued their double degree and can immediately continue their master’s there by participating in the integrated master’s program.
This collaboration is expected to be able to bridge students to explore and learn more broadly. In addition, this can increase the reputation of F-Electics ITS on the international stage.
