INFORMATION THAT IDENTIFIES THE QUALIFICATIONS AND RESULTS OBTAINED BY GRADUATES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATIONS SYSTEMS

 

ETHICAL VALUE, ATTITUDE AND SOFTSKILL

Based on national ideology and Indonesian culture, the implementation of national education and job training system applied in Indonesia in every qualification level include a process which develops the affection extensively as follows:

  1. Devoted to One All Mighty God.
  2. Possesses excellent moral, ethics and personal identity in carrying out her/his duties.
  3. Acts as citizen who is proud of and loves her/his nation and has faith in world peace.

  3. Understand the architecture of information systems/information technology company and its management.
  4. Understand alternative solutions and procurement of information systems/information technology organization.

  6. Understand the concepts of logic and mathematics to basic computer programming and analysis of information.
  7. Understand the concepts of risk management information technology, data security and infrastructure of information system/information technology.
  8. Understand how the data in a very large number collected by modern organizations can be used to evaluate, redesign, and improve processes and business excellence/organization.
  9. Master the concepts and methods of governance and management information systems/information technology.
  10. Understand the scientific method and scientific writing.

Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF)

The Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) is an instrument for leveling framework qualifications and competence of Indonesia’s manpower. It compares balances and integrates education and training sectors, as well as job experiences, in a scheme of competence acknowledgement for specific occupational requirement.

It also appropriately reveals the Indonesia’s manpower quality and personality related to the outcomes of national education and training system, as well as job career development system in producing qualified and productive human resources.

The IQF consists of 9 levels of qualifications (see Figure), comprehensively considering two important job-related aspects, i.e. highly competent employees in carrying out specific job assignment and relevant learning outcomes possessed by graduates coming from education institutions.
