Entering 2023, the ITS 63rd Anniversary event will soon be held. The committee at this annual event is a collaboration of two faculties at ITS alternately. This year, the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (FTEIC) and the Faculty of Civil, Planning, and Earth Engineering (FTSPK) had the opportunity to hold this big event. Committees and basic preparations have started since early January 2023.
Please note, the ITS Anniversary logo every year is the work of the ITS community itself. In March 2023, the committee opened a logo design competition for ITS 63rd Anniversary. Not just a graphic image, the logo that is presented must have its own meaning and philosophy. The theme for the ITS 63rd Anniversary logo is Intelligent Infrastructure for Better Living Society. The proposed logo must also contain a philosophy that accommodates the jargon of the 63rd Anniversary “ITS Moves” and ITS vision.

The competition which lasted for a month finally got a winner. A student from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Earth Planning succeeded in bringing out a slick, philosophically appropriate, and attractive logo. Ardhian Bagas Mahardika Romadhon, a student from Jogja, made a big achievement in his first year of study.
“I am very grateful and proud that in my first year of study, I was able to contribute to ITS,” he said.
Three big themes are brought into his logo design, namely Moving, Innovating, and Contributing. Intelligent Infrastructure for Better Living Society is not just a theme but also an interpretation of the grand vision of ITS as an institution that contributes to national independence. The shape of the logo resembles an incandescent lamp symbolizing innovation that can provide solutions and have a positive impact on society. The shape number 63 adopts a square shape and has a diagonal line to the right, symbolizing technology that continues to develop to support innovation and synergy together in a better direction (ITS is Moving).
