Surabaya, ELECTICS ITS – The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (ELECTICS), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), continues to demonstrate its commitment to international collaboration through the organization of a Short Program in partnership with National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan. Held from June 30 to July 8, 2024, the program welcomed ten students and one professor from NSYSU and involved expert lecturers from various fields within Electrical Engineering at ITS.
The program was officially opened on Monday morning (June 30) with an opening ceremony, remarks from department leadership, and an orientation session on current trends in electrical engineering. In the afternoon, participants took part in an interactive Indonesian language introduction session hosted by the Himatektro student association.

This short program served not only as an academic engagement but also as a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange. Covering topics such as electronics, power systems, telecommunications, renewable energy, and industrial control systems, the sessions were delivered in the form of intensive and practical lectures and workshops.

In addition to the academic sessions, participants visited various laboratories and research centers such as REIDI (Renewable Energy and Intelligent Device Innovation) and ITS Robotics Center to witness firsthand the innovations being developed on campus.

To conclude the program, NSYSU participants took part in a three-day cultural workshop and local excursion (July 5–7). These activities provided not only a refreshing break but also an opportunity to strengthen intercultural bonds and mutual understanding among international students.
Through this program, ELECTICS ITS continues to assert its role as an active faculty in fostering global collaboration and expanding its impact in the fields of education and technology.
