Surabaya, ELECTICS ITS – The Faculty of Electrical and Intelligent Informatics Technology (F-ELECTICS) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) proudly hosted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and visitation from the Bank Indonesia Institute (BINS). This important event took place on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 13:00 to 15:00 WIB, at the ELECTICS ITS premises. This activity is an integral part of BINS’s efforts to support the implementation of the BI Institute 2025 Research, specifically focusing on strategies for Human Resources (HR) development and digital services export in Indonesia.
The BI Institute 2025 Research aims to strengthen the quality of national human resources and optimize the utilization of digital technology in the services sector. This is expected to encourage sustainable economic growth and enhance Indonesia’s global competitiveness. ELECTICS ITS was chosen as the main resource for this activity, an acknowledgment of the faculty’s strategic role and significant contribution to innovation development and the formation of superior human resources in the field of technology.
During this FGD session, two crucial topics, detailed in the Terms of Reference (ToR) provided by the Bank Indonesia Institute, were discussed:
