Academic Writing Center

One-on-One or Group Consultation

Writing consultations are scheduled with a trained academic writing tutor. These consultations are intended to provide writers with constructive feedback regarding various aspects of academic writing during different stages in the writing process–this is not an editorial or translation service. Tutors have different specializations, and preparations for consultation is a necessity. You can get iThenticate report on your manuscript if you have consulted your drafts twice in AWC.

Overall, we have 2 consultation programs offered:

  1. One-on-one consultation (one student and one tutor only)
  2. Group consultation (consists of two or more students on the same draft and one tutor)
