Academic Writing Center

The Writing Bootcamp for International Undergraduate Program (IUP) is intended to assist International Undergraduate Program (IUP) students in preparing their final project writing. We provide comprehensive weekly workshops, writing group, as well as one-on-one or group consultations to help students achieve their writing goals. 

Students will get intensive tutoring from our tutor or facilitator.

Four classes are offered: 

• Onsite “Class A” & “Class C” with ITS AWC English Language Fellow, Thomas Kaufmann
• Online “Class B” & “Class D” with ITS AWC Tutor, Meilisa Ariyanto

1. Help students to identify the writing problems and use possible strategies for each writing process step.
2. Help students to analyze and apply the organizational structures of each Thesis’s chapter.
3. Help students to express ideas and organize it effectively in writing to convey a picture of their projects’ value.
4. Help students to evaluate resources to be integrated in the writing and sue technique of paraphrasing, summarizing, or direct quoting when incorporating sources.
5. Help students to edit their final manuscript effectively.
