The following is the process students must follow to participate in a Thesis Defense.
- Students register on myITS Thesis.
- Students enter their Thesis Title, Field of Study, Laboratory, and prospective Supervisor.
- Students print an identification form.
- Students submit a Thesis Proposal on myITS Thesis.
- Students register for the Thesis Defense on myITS Thesis and request approval from their supervisor.
- Students submit documents to the Head of the Postgraduate Study Program (Tu Pascasarjana).
- Tu Pascasarjana schedules and determines the examiners.
- Students conduct their Thesis Defense. The defense lasts 60 minutes, beginning with a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 45-minute question-and-answer period. The supervisor moderates the defense. There are at least two examiners at the defense. The supervisor and examiners conduct the research using an assessment rubric.
- The Head of the Study Program announces the defense results along with any notes or revisions from the examiners.
- If the defense results are declared GOOD, the student can proceed to the Judisium process.
- If the examination results are negative, the student may make revisions first.
