The following is the process students must follow to participate in the Thesis Proposal Seminar (SEMPRO).
- Students register for SEMPRO on myITS Thesis.
- Students enter their thesis title, field of study, laboratory, and prospective supervisor.
- Students print an identification form.
- Students submit their thesis proposal on myITS Thesis.
- Students register for the thesis proposal seminar on myITS Thesis and request approval from their supervisor.
- Students submit the SEMPRO files to the Head of the Postgraduate Study Program (Tu Pascasarjana).
- Tu Pascasarjana schedules the SEMPRO and determines the examiners.
- Students conduct the Thesis Proposal Seminar (SEMPRO). The SEMPRO lasts 60 minutes, beginning with a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session. The prospective supervisor moderates the SEMPRO. There are at least two examiners. The prospective supervisor and examiner conduct research using an assessment rubric.
- The Head of the Study Program announces the SEMPRO results along with any notes or revisions from the examiners. If the SEMPRO results are declared "CAN CONTINUE," the student may proceed with the thesis.
