The Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (DTMM) originated from the Metallurgy study program under the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) – ITS, which was established in 1999 (based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 178/DIKTI/Kep/1998).
