Procedures for Academic Activities

LECTURE PREPARATION
- The Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering prepares course data, classes, lecturers, schedules, and lecture rooms in MyITS Academic 2.0 (MIA 2.0).
- Students complete re-registration and pay the tuition fee (SPP) through the Virtual Account (VA) of the bank designated by ITS.
- Students complete the Study Plan Form (FRS) through MyITS Academic 2.0 (MIA 2.0) and ensure that the courses they intend to take are properly registered.
- Students meet with their Academic Advisor to complete the course registration and study planning, including ensuring that their planned course selections comply with the curriculum and the requirements of the Study Program.
LECTURE IMPLEMENTATION
- Students are required to participate in the lectures properly, actively, and orderly according to the established schedule.
  - Lectures are conducted using platforms designated by ITS/the Study Program, including MyITS Classroom and MyITS Presensi.
  - Students in PJJ (Distance Learning) classes are required to keep their cameras on (on cam) throughout the lecture, except under certain circumstances that have been approved by the lecturer.
- Students must complete the entire lecture process and fulfill the graduation requirements for each course in accordance with the curriculum and applicable regulations.
PROPOSAL AND THESIS
- At the Proposal/Thesis stage, students are required to:
  - Discuss the thesis research topic, objectives, and research plan with their Thesis Supervisor.
  - Conduct regular thesis consultations with their Thesis Supervisor, at least once a week, or in accordance with the requirements established by the Study Program.
  - Documenting the supervision process and the progress of the research in accordance with the mechanisms applicable in the Study Program.
PUBLICATION PREPARATION
- Students prepare a draft journal/conference publication article that meets the requirements and publication quality standards established by the Electrical Engineering Study Program at the Master’s level. Publication affiliation and authorship provisions:
  - The student’s affiliation is stated as: Department of Electrical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)
  - The corresponding author is the Thesis Supervisor, who is a faculty member of the ITS Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering, in accordance with the provisions of the Study Program.
PUBLICATION APPROVAL AND SUBMISSION
- Before submitting the article to a journal or conference, students are required to complete the Publication Approval Form, which must be signed by the Thesis Supervisory Team and the Head of the Study Program.
  The Publication Approval Form is part of the publication verification process conducted by the Study Program. Students who submit an article without following the approval procedure risk having the publication not recognized as fulfillment of the graduation requirements.
- After obtaining publication approval, students submit the article to the designated and/or approved journal or conference in accordance with the provisions of the Study Program.
PUBLICATION SUBMISSION AND ASSESSMENT
- If the article has been accepted for publication in a national/international journal or the proceedings of an international seminar, the student is required to complete and submit the publication completion documents to the Study Program for the publication submission and assessment process as part of the graduation requirements.
- Students who have completed and fulfilled all study requirements in accordance with the curriculum of the Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering and have been declared to have passed the publication course may be proposed to participate in the graduation examination process, in accordance with the applicable academic regulations at ITS.
GRADUATION ASSESSMENT AND COMPLETION
- Students who have fulfilled all academic and administrative requirements for graduation may be processed for the graduation assessment.
- Based on the results of the graduation assessment, students shall be declared to have graduated from the Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering if they have fulfilled all graduation requirements in accordance with the applicable regulations.
