According to the Government Law No 54 year 2015, the President of Republic Indonesia stated that Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) becomes an autonomous university. ITS have more independency on planning, actuating, and controlling many activities, including quality assurance. ITS Quality Assurance Office (ITS QA Office) keeps maintaining the quality improvement effort continuously by conducting both internal and external quality assurance system. The external QA system conducting by following National Accreditation (BAN PT) which is mandatory for any study program, and also following any International Accreditation and Assessment. One of study program in ITS, i.e. Industrial Engineering has been accredited by ABET and eight study programmes acrredited by IABEE. For the International Assessment, ITS committed to applying for ASEAN University Network – Quality assurance (AUN-QA) Assessment. Twenty study programs have certified by AUN-QA. Decree of the minister of education and culture No. 83 of 2020, which provides direction in the selection of international accreditation bodies, one of which can be through a signatory on the EQAR – European Quality Assurance Register. One of the members included in EQAR is the ASIIN accreditation body. For this reason, in 2020 ITS decided to accredit sixteen study programs, which were proposed in four clusters, i.e. Cluster A, B1, B2 and C. Cluster A has been visited on 10 – 12 September 2021. Currently, that will be audited are Cluster B1 and B2. Cluster B1 which consists of study programs: Bachelor and Master of Mathematics, Bachelor and Master of Statistics. Cluster B2 consists of Bachelor and Master of Informatics, Bachelor and Master of Information systems. The eight study programs in Cluster B1 and B2 will together visited on 21 – 23 September 2021, and will be followed by cluster C on 28 Sept – 1 October 2021. All of these policies are taken by ITS through improving the internal process as an effort to guarantee the education process following the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) system, in order to lead ITS towards World-Class University (WCU).
