SURABAYA – Learning doesn’t always have to take place in a classroom. Last Thursday (May 4, 2023), the ITS Library welcomed special guests: 95 seventh-grade students from SMPIT Al Uswah in Surabaya. Their visit wasn’t just a casual stop; it marked the start of a new adventure in the world of literacy.

This activity is part of the ITS Library’s Outreach Services. For us, a library is not merely a repository of books on campus, but a center of knowledge that should be accessible to everyone. These outreach services are a tangible expression of our commitment to community service, ensuring that the spirit of literacy is not limited to the academic community alone, but also reaches students outside the ITS community.

Inspiring and Fun Learning

At the ITS Library, students are invited to experience a modern, all-digital learning environment. We want to show them that the world of literacy is vast and exciting. In addition to reading books, they are also encouraged to explore the various works of art on display in the library. We hope this will spark their curiosity and boost their confidence as they pursue their future aspirations.

In line with the school’s commitment to learning, this visit was designed to provide students with a more holistic perspective.
