The Final Project is a four-credit course required by every student in the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, ITS (ITS) as a requirement to complete their undergraduate education and earn a Bachelor’s degree. The Final Project aims to enable students to explain, analyze, and apply all educational experiences based on basic and elective courses in their chosen field of expertise.

The following is the process students must follow to participate in the Final Project Defense.

1. Register for the Final Project Defense on MyITS Thesis.
2. Enter the Final Project Title, Field of Study, Laboratory, and Supervisors 1 & 2.
3. Upload the required documents for Final Project Seminar Registration (Final Project Defense Draft; Final Project Form 2 and TOEFL certificate).
4. Contact the First and Second Supervisors to obtain approval as supervisors for the MY ITS Thesis.
5. The Head of the Undergraduate Study Program and the Undergraduate Academic Administration Department will schedule the Final Project Defense and determine the examiners.
6. Submit the Final Project Defense Draft at least two days before the defense at the Lecturer’s Locker or through the Academic Administration.
7. Students will conduct their Final Project Defense.
8. Students will make revisions to the exams provided by the examiners through their supervisors.
9. Once the revisions have been made, the examiners will assign a grade to the defense through their supervisors.
