DTMM ITS Hands Over CuBioX Nanobiofertilizer Product to PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro
The Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (DTMM), Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), has officially handed over the CuBioX Nanobiofertilizer product to Dr. Azis Natawijaya, Director of Corporate Development of PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro (PT BGA). This activity is part of the deliverables of the BGA Open Innovation Research program and serves as a concrete step in strengthening research collaboration between academia and industry.
CuBioX was developed by Azzah Dyah Pramata, PhD, and the team from the DTMM Materials Chemistry Laboratory, in collaboration with the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. This technology is designed as a nano-bio solution to support increased oil palm productivity through a biofertilizer-based approach. The handover of this product marks an initial step toward the next phase of downstream development in collaboration with industry partners, tailored to operational needs.
Through this collaboration, DTMM ITS reaffirms its commitment to continuously delivering applied and impactful innovations, while expanding the downstream utilization of research outputs to provide tangible benefits for the industrial sector and society at large.
