ITS Students Showcase “CoreBox” Innovation at SMARTVATION 2026 National BMC Competition
Two students from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Kevin Fauzi Milano (Student ID 5011231098) and Yohan Kezia Maharani (Student ID 5011231081), demonstrated their spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship by participating in the SMARTVATION 2026 National BMC Competition with an innovation entitled CoreBox. This competition serves as a national-level Business Model Canvas (BMC) event that provides a platform for Indonesian students to develop creative ideas and innovative solutions with the potential to create a real impact on society.
Through CoreBox, Kevin and Yohan aim to introduce an innovative concept that emphasizes not only product creativity but also sustainable business development strategies. The Business Model Canvas approach used in the project enables the innovation to be developed comprehensively through the identification of key product values, customer segments, marketing strategies, and future business development opportunities.
Participation in national competitions such as SMARTVATION represents an important opportunity for students to strengthen their critical thinking skills, formulate business strategies, and implement innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Beyond serving as a competitive platform, the event also opens opportunities for collaboration and expands participants’ academic and professional networks.
The participation of Kevin Fauzi Milano and Yohan Kezia Maharani with their CoreBox innovation is expected to inspire other students to continue creating, innovating, and contributing solutions that benefit society and support industrial development in Indonesia.
