ITS as a top university in the field of research, which is ranked 6th in Indonesia in THE World University Rankings (THE WUR) 2023 continues to spur its research performance. One of the efforts made is to measure the achievement of research productivity for all departments. As of 2022, Geophysical Engineering is one of the superior departments which is ranked 5th in ITS.
The calculation of this research productivity ranking is based on the number of publications, the number of citations and the H-Index produced for the last 3 years. This achievement cannot be separated from the productive performance of the Geophysical Engineering Department lecturers in conducting research, both on a local, national and international scale.
