ITS Geophysical Engineering received a visit from representatives of Malaysia’s Petronas University of Technology on Thursday, 8 June 2023. Dr. Khairul Arifin, Head of Petroleum Geoscience UTP visited ITS to promote the Double Degree program, which is a collaborative program between ITS Geophysical Engineering and UTP Petroleum Geosciences.

This Sharing Session was attended by regular students and international undergraduate program (IUP), as well as parents who attended online.

In his presentation, Dr. Khairul Arifin delivered that UTP is the right Double Degree destination university, because UTP is the number 1 private university in ASEAN in Engineering and Technology, and is even in the Top 50 QS World University Ranking in the Subject Engineering Mineral Mining.

Apart from promoting the Double Degree program, UTP’s arrival was also to initiate other collaborative programs such as Joint Research, Joint Supervision, Joint Teaching, and International Field Trip.
