5 Students of ITS Geophysical Engineering has won international competition entitled DERRICK 2022. The students which are splitted into 2 groups, have won the first and second positions in Geothermal Study Case Competition. The first team consists of M. Erfand Dzulfiqar Rafi, Ester Hotmaria, and Daniel Juliardo Lambun Gaol, while second team consists of Muhammad Ilhan Baihaqi and Galdino Aditya Augraha.
Geothermal Study Case Competition aims to test the participant’s ability to design and design a geothermal power plant that is safe, efficient, economical, from subsurface to surface facility and the impact of environmental and socio-cultural analysis of the plant. Later, the design will be implemented in the form of a power plant model.
DERRICK 2022 is an Annual Oil and Gas Intellectual Competition which is held by PEM AKAMIGAS. It was an collaboration event organized by HIMA-EP PEM Akamigas, IATMI SM PEM Akamigas Cepu and SPE PEM Akamigas SC.
