Research Week is an annual meeting held by Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) through International Office selected lecturers who are interested in collaborating with campuses in Western Australia. Mariyanto and Widya Utama from Department of Geophysical Engineering were selected as ITS delegations to attend this event in September 2018. In addition, they also visited campuses in Western Australia such as Edith Cowan University, University of Western Australia and Curtin University.

The meeting was held between the ITS delegations with Prof. Stefan Iglauer and his assistant from Department of Petroleum Engineering, School of Engineering, Edith Cowan University. The meeting began with discussing profiles and research activities in each department and plans for potential cooperation that can be done. ITS delegations also visited laboratories in School of Engineering, Edith Cowan University.

The meeting was held between the ITS delegations with dean (Prof. Joe Luca) and staffs of Graduate Research School, Edith Cowan University.
