ITS doctoral study aims to find/develop new scientific ideas theory, contribute to the development and practice of science. This programs can be taken with a study period of eight semesters (four years) with an average credit load of 42-45 credits consisting of major subjects, supporting subjects, research and writing a thesis or dissertation in accordance with the curriculum.

The doctoral study in Marine Engineering is a field of study that offers further education in the field of knowledge and renewal related to ships, marine buildings, ports to marine science and fisheries from the perspective of engineering, fluid systems, electricity, reliability, and manufacturing system design.
