Visi dan Misi ITS is to become a world-class university, therefore Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has vision and mission as guiding principles for directing ITS to higher levels and becoming better. Vision and mission can also be used as the promise of what ITS will give its students.
As part of ITS, the Department of Information System has responsibility towards stakeholders (stakeholder), especially graduates, businesses and community organizations, and industries. The future aspirations that the Department of Information System wants to achieve are stated in the Vision, Mission, Motto, Values, Strategy and Student Learning Outcomes:
Mission of the Information Systems Department Educational Field: Delivering an educational process supported by a future-oriented learning ecosystem based on Information Technology with international-standard Curriculum, Lecturers, and Learning Methods so as to produce graduates who are innovative, entrepreneurial-spirited, and globally aware. Research Field: Undertaking the development of Science and Technology particularly in the field of Information Systems through high-quality international research activities. Social Service for Community Field: Utilizing available resources to solve problems faced by Communities, Industries, Government agencies with emphasis on Research outputs thereby achieving work systems at an international level. Governance Field: Managing the Department with excellent administrative staff (Tata Pamong), creating conducive environment and developing networks synergize with partner universities within and outside Indonesia, industries, communities, government institutions in conducting Education, Research, and Social Service activities.
Ethics and Integrity, upholding ethics and integrity in community life, national state, as well as profession, and always adhering to norms and regulations applicable in society, nation, and religion. Creativity and Innovation, instilling creative and innovative attitudes for seeking new ideas when carrying out duties and providing solutions.
