The Departemen Sistem Informasi ITS organized an international Guest Lecture Series titled “Topics in Enterprise Architecture and IT Governance” on May 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Tower 2 ITS.
The event featured Prof. Geert Poels from Ghent University, Belgium. He is a Senior Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Department of Business Informatics and Operations Management.
During the lecture, Prof. Geert Poels discussed various important topics related to Enterprise Architecture and IT Governance as fundamental components of digital transformation in modern organizations. The session highlighted how organizations can align business strategies with information technology to improve efficiency, governance, and data-driven decision-making. 📊
He also emphasized the importance of IT Governance in ensuring that information technology is utilized effectively, securely, and in accordance with organizational goals.
