The Digital Innovation Study Program, Department of Information Systems at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), organized the GLOBAL BUSINESS WEEK: Strategic Business Simulation Workshop “Mastering Global Markets” on March 2–5, 2026. The event took place at the Auditorium Tower 2, ITS Sukolilo Campus, Surabaya, and was attended by students from the Digital Innovation Study Program.
The workshop featured two international speakers from Maritime University of Szczecin, Poland: Prof. Piotr Wołejsza and Prof. Jolanta Koszelew. During the workshop, students participated in a strategic business simulation, allowing them to experience decision-making processes in global business environments and to better understand international market dynamics.
Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in interactive activities designed to strengthen their analytical thinking, teamwork, and strategic decision-making skills in a competitive global market. The business simulation approach provided students with practical insights into how companies formulate and implement strategies to compete internationally.
In addition to enriching students’ academic experience, the event also aimed to strengthen the international collaboration between Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and Maritime University of Szczecin. This collaboration is expected to open further opportunities for cooperation in education, research, and academic exchange programs in the future.
Through initiatives such as Global Business Week, the Digital Innovation Study Program at ITS continues its commitment to providing internationally oriented learning experiences that prepare students to face the challenges of the global business landscape.
