Surabaya, August 26, 2026 – To welcome international students and introduce them to the academic ecosystem at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), the ITS Library was one of the main stops on the Student Exchange Campus Tour. A total of 80 international students from various countries had the opportunity to explore the campus’s learning facilities firsthand on Wednesday (August 26). This event was organized as a key support for the exchange students’ adaptation process, enabling them to make optimal use of all literacy facilities during their studies at ITS.
The campus tour went smoothly thanks to the collaboration and prompt assistance from the organizing committee of the ITS Directorate of Global Partnerships (DKG) and ITS librarians. The tour was designed not only to introduce the building’s layout but also to provide an overview of the academic atmosphere, the comfort of the reading rooms, and the various ways to access both physical and digital collections.
To ensure a comfortable and efficient tour experience for such a large group of participants, the organizing committee divided all the students into four small groups. Accompanied directly by experienced ITS librarians, each group was guided floor by floor—from the first to the fifth floor—to get an up-close look at various flagship service areas. Although the route on the 4th floor had to be bypassed because it was undergoing renovation and facility upgrades, this did not dampen the participants’ enthusiasm for exploring other corners of the library and interacting with one another throughout the event.
