The Department of Business Management, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), has once again achieved remarkable success by winning three prestigious awards in strategic university-level categories at the Rector Awards 2025.
The achievements attained by the Department of Business Management are as follows:
1st Place – Best Internationalisation Endeavour
1st Place – Highest Number of Students Participating in Off-Campus Learning Programs
2nd Place – Percentage of Undergraduate Graduates Successfully Employed, Continuing Their Studies, or Becoming Entrepreneurs
The Best Internationalisation Endeavour award serves as tangible proof of the Department’s strong commitment to enhancing internationalization through global partnerships, student exchange programs, international academic collaborations, and various international-scale academic activities. These initiatives aim to equip students with global perspectives and enhance the competitiveness of graduates at the international level.
Meanwhile, achieving 1st place in the category of student participation in off-campus learning programs reflects the successful implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative. Business Management students actively engage in various programs, including industrial internships, independent projects, entrepreneurship activities, research, and social projects, all of which provide contextual and practical learning experiences.
Equally commendable, the 2nd place award for the percentage of undergraduate graduates who are employed, pursue further studies, or become entrepreneurs highlights the high quality of graduates produced by the Department of Business Management, who demonstrate strong adaptability and competitiveness in both professional and academic environments.
The Head of the Department of Business Management expressed sincere appreciation to all lecturers, administrative staff, students, and partner institutions for their invaluable contributions and dedication.
