The Mathematics Department of ITS proudly hosted Ikbal EL KHALIDI, a master’s student from the Department of Mathematics at CY Tech, France, as part of an International Internship program at the Machine Learning and Big Data Laboratory.
During the internship, Ikbal was supervised by Mohammad Iqbal, Ph.D, and worked on a research project titled “Destination Prediction Using Machine Learning”, focusing on predictive modeling using historical data and machine learning algorithms.
As part of the academic activities, Ikbal presented his project in a seminar held on August 12, 2025, attended by lecturers and students of the Mathematics Department. The seminar sparked insightful discussions and highlighted the relevance of data science in real-world applications.
