IISMA in ITS

IISMA is a scholarship program offered by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Indonesia. The program provides funding for undergraduate and graduate students to study abroad at partner universities around the world. The goal of IISMA is to support the development of highly skilled professionals who can contribute to the growth and advancement of Indonesia’s economy and society.

In recent years, ITS has been working to expand the reach and impact of the IISMA program. This has included improving the training provided to awardees and increasing the number of scholarships available. As a result, the number of IISMA awardees has grown rapidly, with 14 awardees in 2021, 33 in 2022 (including 14 from the faculty of vocational), and a staggering 78 in 2023.

The program has also expanded its partnerships with universities around the world, including Arizona State University, University of California, Davis, Maastricht University, University of British Columbia, University of Liverpool, Hanyang University (Seoul Campus), University of Twente, and Universiti Malaya. Through these partnerships, IISMA awardees have the opportunity to study a wide range of disciplines and gain valuable international experience that can help them succeed in their future careers.
