We are incredibly lucky to have been given an IISMA award – it is an honour to have been recognised for our achievements. Despite having traveled the world, we should never forget that Indonesia is our home. Our time outside of Indonesia has taught us invaluable lessons, but now it is time to put these newfound experiences to use. Let’s pool our knowledge, skills and resources to help build a strong and vibrant Indonesia – a nation of which we can be very proud. Together, we can drive positive change and promote meaningful progress. Ultimately, through our knowledge and dedication, we can make Indonesia a better place.

After I didn’t get to go to Germany on my double degree program, I felt IISMA could satisfy my need to study abroad and boy, it did! I was so happy to make lots of new friends both from class and along the way during my trip. Learning the local culture, sharing about Indonesia towards them, and tolerating our differences really helps me see the humanity in people around me.

Joining IISMA is a life-changing experience for me. My personal and academic horizons have been greatly broadened because of this program’s emphasis on cross-cultural learning and international networking. The industrial experiences I get on this program give me new practical insight and work ethic in a world-class industry.
