The Department of Water and IT Engineering at Kyungpook National University (KNU) administers a specialized government-funded graduate program to equip students with field-oriented coursework and training. Located at both the Main Campus and Water Campus within the Korea Water Cluster, a prominent water hub in Korea, this program offers interdisciplinary education tailored to the water industry and the fourth industrial revolution. With a distinguished faculty comprising over 16 members from Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, and IT engineering backgrounds, students benefit from comprehensive instruction and mentorship.
Selected students receive financial support for tuition and living expenses. Moreover, they actively engage in various essential activities throughout their program, including research projects, internship opportunities, field trips, and participation in domestic and international conferences. Upon completion, graduates are well-prepared to pursue careers in affiliated water companies associated with the department’s program.
