The ITS Informatics Engineering Department held a guest lecture with the theme “Shift Left Security, Introduction to Secure SDLC”. The speaker at this guest lecture was Andi Mappesona who is an alumni of the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering and was moderated by Dr. Baskoro Adi Pratomo. This guest lecture was held online via Zoom Meeting and broadcast live via YouTube on Tuesday, December 6 2022.
Andi Mappesona is an IT practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in cybersecurity. He stated that cybersecurity is very important considering the trend of data security threats continues to increase every year, which are generally caused by data breaches from human error. For this reason, in the CIA Triad Concept, it is stated that there are three elements that must be protected in cybersecurity, namely Integrity, Confidentiality, and Availability. System security is not only carried out by the security team, but involves many parties including programmers, designers and users.
