Subdirectorate of Entrepreneurship Development and Career ITS
Since its establishment, the Subdirectorate of Entrepreneurship Development and Career (PK2) ITS has played a significant role for ITS institutionally as well as for students and alumni. Data from alumni tracking and industrial cooperation can be utilized to measure user satisfaction and be used for institutional accreditation. Likewise, psychological services are very helpful in mapping the initial condition of ITS students so that an appropriate educational process can be designed during their time at ITS. In addition, psychological and career guidance greatly helps students in planning the career path they wish to build after graduating from ITS. Various information about the professional world matching the studied competencies greatly helps bridge students toward a career with thorough planning from the start. PK2 ITS also maps the number of ITS students who benefit from the presence of PK2 in terms of gaining opportunities for psychological consultation and career guidance, as well as obtaining career opportunity information both online and offline through the ITS career fair. PK2's cooperation with Industry, especially in the ITS career fair, has also received positive responses. Currently, PK2 ITS continues to improve to enhance service quality in order to achieve its established vision and mission. One initiative currently underway is improving the quality of the information and communication system for industrial cooperation applications, service information, graduate tracking, up to the execution of the ITS career fair. Development programs being conducted also include improving the quality and system of practical work (internship), guest lectures, and their derivatives. Various psychological services are also continuously improved based on need survey results for both active students and prospective graduates. PK2 ITS is currently affiliated and collaborating with ICCN (Indonesia Career Center Network), an organization that accommodates career centers in higher education institutions in Indonesia. Through this collaboration, PK2 learns and shares extensively with various career development centers across Indonesian universities.
