Vision

To become an internationally recognized Architect Professional Education Program that contributes to Asian architecture and architectural education based on collaborative research and local excellence.


Mission

To contribute to the mastery and application of architectural science and technology for the welfare of society by preparing professional architects through professional education. This education aims to develop knowledge and skills in the architectural profession, architecture, and construction, enabling graduates to assume leadership roles in advancing the profession with a spirit of self-development, innovative problem-solving, and excellence in information and communication technology.


Goals

  1. To educate and develop the abilities of participants, and produce graduates who are virtuous, critical, and creative, excel in the mastery and application of architectural science and technology, possess a strong and independent personality, are professional, possess high integrity and responsibility, can adapt and develop themselves, and compete at the national and international levels.
  2. To produce relevant and high-quality conceptual work, grounded in research, rooted in local excellence, that meets ethical, aesthetic, and constructive principles, and can contribute to society at the regional, national, and international levels.
  3. To foster a conducive academic atmosphere and uphold academic moral values ​​to foster a dynamic and harmonious campus community.
  4. To establish the professional architecture education program as a center for education and application of science and technology in the fields of architecture, housing & settlements, urban planning, and the environment.

Graduate Competence

  1. Profecient in architecture theory, architecture precedent analysis, and architecture design methods;
  2. Ability to comprehensively and critically analyse and propose problem solving  in architecture design; and present them by means of oral, written and graphic presentation. (Including: design concept, schematic design, working drawing, Building Specification and Construction Cost Estimate);
  3. Ability to creatively and independently design architecture objects based on architecture precedent analysis, and working with client;
  4. Ability to develop professional performance that characterized by sharp analysis of problems, adequate perspective/ frame of reference, and comprehensive problems solving.
