 1. INTERNATIONAL E-INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

ITS Geophysical Engineering offer international program which will invite you to experience our international course, research and training. They are:

 1.1. Geophysics Course Based Internship in ITS (GEOCOUITS).

• Organized by Division of Geophysics Student International Affair.
• Internship students can join and attend a series of lectures in the field of geophysics delivered by Department of Gophysical Engineering ITS lecturers.
• Duration: 1-4 months.
• Time: Between September-Desember
• Registration Fee: 50 USD (waived)

 1.2. Geophysics Research Based Internship in ITS (GEORESITS).

• Organized by Division of Petromagnetic and Geochemistry Exploration.
• Internship students can do research with DGE ITS lecturers and students who are doing their final project.
• Internship student will assist to measure the data, proceed the data, write scientific articles and publish it to seminars (conferences) or journals.
• Lecturer from home university can join in guiding the writing of scientific article and become co-author with the obligation to contribute half of the funding for publication fee.
• Topics: Geophysics application in various fields
• Duration: 1-4 months.
• Registration Fee: 100 USD (waived)

1.3. Geophysics Lab-Based Internship in ITS (GEOLABITS).

• Organized by Laboratories in Department of Geophysical Engineering ITS.
• Internship students can do research with Department of Geophysical Engineering ITS lecturers on laboratory research project.
• Internship student will collect the data, proceed the data, write scientific articles and publish it to seminars (conferences) or journals.
• Lecturer from home university can join in guiding the writing of scientific article and become co-author with the obligation to contribute half of the funding for publication fee.
• Topics: Geophysics application in various fields
• Duration: 1-4 months.
• Registration Fee: 100 USD (waived).

1.4. Geophysics Staff Based Internship in ITS (GEOSTAITS)

• Organized by Division of Geophysics Staff International Affair.
• In this program, overseas non-academic staff will have experience in learning how to boost university promotion via social media.
• Not only learning but also but experiencing the practical work with non-academic staff of DGE ITS in dealing with university social media management.
• Duration: 1–2 week.
• Registration Fee: No fee needed

 2. CommTECH Camp Highlight (Sub Course “RING OF FIRE:WONDERFUL INDONESIA)

Indonesia is geographically a country that is covered by the Ring of Fire. Yes Ring of Fire is a routealong the Pacific Ocean which is marked by the presence of volcanoes that are still in active condition. This phenomenon has both positive and negative impacts for Indonesia. The negative impact, it brings varius potential for disaster due to active volcanoes, start from volcanoes eruption, earthquakes also tsunamis. On the other hand, the positive impact has made Indonesia possess extraordinarily rich natural resources and has captivating natural beauty and leaves behind various historical heritages. In this program, ITS will invite you to witness how the uniqueness of the various volcanic phenomena in Indonesia and how Indonesia’s efforts to mitigate the disasters. Not only that, you will get a virtual tour experience to enjoy the natural beauty of the volcanoes of Ring of Fire: Indonesia.
