The ITS Geophysical Engineering Department has successfully held a Guest Lecture by inviting Seismologist from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Dr. Andrean V. Simanjuntak. This event was held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 11:00-1:00 PM WIB.

Held at the ITS Geophysical Engineering Building, this Guest Lecture raised the topic “INTRODUCTION TO EARTHQUAKE SOURCE MECHANISMS.” This event was enthusiastically attended by ITS Geophysical Engineering students, especially participants in the Seismology, Disaster Geophysics, and Earthquake Engineering courses.
