Knowledge Vision

Knowledge Vision of the ITS Geophysical Engineering’s Master Study Program is to become a leading masters program at the national and international levels in the development and application of innovative and sustainable applied geophysical science in the fields of oil and gas, geothermal energy, and geological disaster mitigation that is oriented towards scientific progress, global industrial needs, community welfare and environmental sustainability.

Independent Professional Profile

The Independent Professional Profile of the Master of Geophysical Engineering Study Program, which aligns with and supports the program’s knowledge vision, is as follows:

  1. Individuals possessing in-depth and comprehensive knowledge and skills to solve problems in the oil and gas, geothermal, and geological disaster sectors by formulating and developing cutting-edge and innovative methods.
  2. Individuals capable of adapting, thinking critically and creatively, and actively communicating and collaborating through interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approaches at the national and international levels.
  3. Individuals capable of building a career and/or pursuing doctoral studies both domestically and internationally.

The formulation of learning outcomes for the Geophysical Engineering Masters Study Program that are in accordance with the graduate profile, refers to the description of learning outcomes in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 53 of 2023 concerning Quality Assurance of Higher Education (https://its.id/Permendikbudristek_No53Th2023), level 8 (eight) of the KKNI, ITS Academic Regulations, ITS Curriculum Evaluation and Development Guidelines, national and international accreditation learning outcome guidelines, and their relevance to the excellence or uniqueness of the study program.
