Department of Geophysical Engineering ITS has successfully held a international event inviting 2 associate professors from Malaysia. Dr. Lim Hwee San and Dr. Andy Anderson Anak Berry, from Universiti Sains Malaysia, was visiting ITS Geophysical Engineering started from 21-26 September 2025.

Under Inbound Researcher Mobility (IRM) program, 2 ITS Geophysical Engineering lecturers involved in this international visitation program, which are Ir. Eki Komara, S.T., M.T. and Dharma Arung Laby, S.Si., M.T. During the visitation, 2 invited associate professors did various activities such as guest lecture, collaboration discussion, and also field trip.

The output expected from this program is joint publication in reputable international journals. Hopefully this program could strengthen the partnership between ITS Geophysical Engineering and USM School of Physics.
