The demand for science and technology in the maritime sector, especially in Indonesia, is getting higher. As a maritime campus, ITS collaborates to develop research and innovation with several parties such as national government and local companies. Some of the ship designed by ITS is acknowledged internationally. ITS solar-ship, for instance, designed with maximum speed through shape and architectural design is used for competition. Besides, ITS also acknowledged by the government to design warship to support national security, to prevent foreign power in Indonesia’s sea and to protect the richness of fishes and ocean resources in Indonesia.
