DSB Berita– Satikomo (One Mojokerto City Information Data) is a program initiated by the Mojokerto City Communication and Information Service as a forum for developing an integrated data center. This program collaborates with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as data supervisor, the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappedalitbang) as data coordinator, Diskominfo as data guardian and Mojokerto City OPDs as data producers.
Satikomo has features for data visualization. However, data visualization is still done statically using Tableau, so the data visualization contained in Satikomo has the disadvantage of not being integrated in real-time. To overcome these deficiencies, the ABMAS and ITS Business Statistics KKN teams, in August 2023 have implemented a community service program in the city of Mojokerto. In this case, the Abmas team collaborated with the Mojokerto City Communication and Information Department to design a dashboard as a form of interactive information visualization using Power BI.
The ABMAS and ITS Business Statistics KKN teams are chaired by Dra. Lucia Aridinanti, M.T., with a team of service members namely Muhammad Alifian Nuriman, M.Stat., Dr. Wahyu Wibowo, M.Si., Zakiatul Wildani, M.Sc., Iis Dewi Ratih, M.Si., Ir. Sri Pingit Wulandari, M.Si., and Dra. Sri Mumpuni Retnaningsih, M.T. The Abmas team was supported by 10 KKN students, namely Meira Frisca Anindhita, Ferdyansyah Permana Putra, Wahyu Novitasari, Rizka Widya Berliana, Desy Nazalia Rafika, Mochammad Rozan Hakim, Diana Shintawati, Divy Allyssa Pramestira, and Nabila Aisha. Student KKN activities start from preparation, data collection, dashboard creation, as well as mentoring by the service team. During this activity, there was full support from the Diskominfo and Mojokerto City OPD.

The interactive dashboard design process began through data collection coordinated by Diskominfo Mojokerto for Mojokerto OPDs. Next, understanding the data is carried out to review the indicators that will be presented in the dashboard so that the objectives of creating the dashboard can be realized properly. Data pre-processing will be the main support in preparing data quality. The final stage is visualization of data on each variable interactively in a dashboard using Power BI media.
This dashboard is designed to be user friendly and interactive which is easily accessible to all officers / staff and even the outside community to make it easier to understand data information in the health, education, social and MSME sectors in Mojokerto City with Power BI visualization. Through this collaboration, Head of Coding and Statistical Data, Siti Noor’ Ainy, hopes that the construction of the new dashboard will provide more updated data. “Hopefully the development of this dashboard can be useful for the City of Mojokerto and of course really help us to advance SATIKOMO,” explained Ainy.
