The D-III Statistics Program was established in 1981, which is managed by the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, ITS. The establishment of this study program was driven by the large needs of mid-level Statistics staff who were able to support the work of statistical analysis in the fields of: Industry, Business, Financial Economics and Social-Population and Health-Environment. The establishment of the Statistics D-III Study Program was approved by the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Number: 116 / DKTI / Kep / 1984, which was updated by the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, number: 613 / D / T / 2010. Currently the D-III Statistics Program has obtained A accreditation from the National Higher Education Accreditation Board with Decree number: 020/BAN-PT/AK-XIDpl-III/X/2011.

The D-III Statistics Study Program based on the 2019-2023 Curriculum is aimed at producing human resources who have statistical skills, including being able to apply statistical methods for planning, evaluation and decision making in various fields, especially in the fields of: Industry, Business, Financial Economics and Social-Population and the Health Environment.
