The event, held at the ITS Library—specifically at the Creative Co-Working Space (CCWS) on the first floor—served as a platform for knowledge sharing regarding double degree programs, LPDP scholarship opportunities for further studies abroad, and inspiring experiences gained while studying in the UK. More than 45 participants attended and enthusiastically took part in this event, demonstrating the high level of interest among the academic community in opportunities for further study abroad.

During the presentation session, Prof. Nurul Widiastuti was the first speaker to present material on strategies for securing an LPDP scholarship. Drawing on her experience as a former LPDP reviewer, the information and insights she shared during her session were invaluable. The material presented also provided participants with a deep understanding of the strategic steps involved in securing the scholarship.

Meanwhile, Dhea—the nickname of Alma Putri Dhiafira—shared her story of perseverance and experiences during her studies in the UK through a book discussion titled “My Story as a Student in the UK.” Dhea discussed the contents of her book, covering challenges in adapting to a new environment, as well as strategies for surviving and thriving while studying abroad. During her session, Dhea not only provided a realistic picture of the lives of Indonesian students in the UK but also inspired the participants’ enthusiasm and courage to pursue higher education. The event was interactive, featuring an active Q&A session where participants took turns asking questions to both speakers.
