Surabaya, October 29, 2024, the Department of Business Management, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya held an International Guest Lecture (IGL) with the theme “Sociopreneur” featuring Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satirenjit K. Johl CMngr FCMI, from Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) Malaysia. This event aims to provide students with in-depth insight into the concept of sociopreneurship and its important role in social and economic development.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satirenjit Kaur Johl, who has expertise in management and social entrepreneurship, shared her knowledge on how businesses can function as agents of social change. She emphasized the importance of innovation and sustainability in creating solutions to social challenges faced by society today.
This event was attended by students and lecturers of the ITS Business Management Department who were enthusiastic to understand more about the application of the concept of sociopreneurship in the real world.
