CommTECH Nusantara is a short program aimed to introduce various Indonesian cultures to participants from all over the world.  The program also focuses on art & cultural activities such as introduction such as traditional music & dance, cultural activities in each region, foods and many more. At the end of the program, participants will present their creative ideas in Virtual Project Exhibition  Delivering the special theme of Wonderful Indonesia Cuisine, participants will explore amazing tasty Indonesia Food from all over region.

During the program, participants will be given a project competition of creating a video or poster in the theme of Indonesian values and culture that has been introduced in the CommTECH Nusantara 2024 program. Participants may be as creatively as desired for creating the project.

In the end of the program, participants will present their creation on a Virtual Project Exhibition. The projects will also be posted through CommTECH’s Instagram account as well as the Facebook account of ITS Global Engagement.

CommTECH Nusantara 2024 will be conducted every 18.30 – 21.30  WIB  GMT +7 from Monday, 28 Oct 2024 until Friday 8 Nov 2024

This program consists of  10 (ten) meetings with detail as follow:

Week 1 (28 Oct – 1 Nov 2024) 

(1) Monday, 28 Oct  2024 – Opening Ceremony & Virtual Campus Tour
(2) Tuesday, 29 Oct 2024 – Fun Bahasa Indonesia, Virtual Surabaya City Tour
(3) Wednesday, 30 Oct 2024 – East Java & Central Java Edition, Surabaya Food Street
(4) Thursday, 31 Oct 2024- Kalimantan & Bali Edition
(5) Friday, 1 Nov 2024 – Sumatra Edition +  Aceh Food Discussion

Week 2 (4-8 Nov 2024)

(1) Monday, 4 Nov 2024 : Sulawesi Edition + Live Cooking
(2) Tuesday, 5 Nov 2024: Nusa Tenggara, Papua & Maluku Edition
(3) Wednesday, 6 Nov 2024 : Project Announcement
(4) Thursday, 7 Nov 2024 : Virtual Presentation / Project Exhibition
(5) Friday, 8 Nov 2024 : Closing Ceremony

Non-Indonesian active bachelor, master & doctoral students from any background, non academic staff, lecturers & professors  are eligible for joining the program. International students who are currently studying in Indonesia are not eligible for this program

All the participants can get certificate of participation after completion of the program. The winner of project awarding also will got additional certificate and gift from ITS.
