The ASEAN Student Experiential Mobility Programme (ASEMO @ UUM 2026), hosted by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), is now open for applications.

This program invites undergraduate students across ASEAN to join a dynamic experience under the theme:

“Empowering ASEAN Youth Leaders: AI, Innovation & Sustainability.”

Program Structure

Online Phase (2–8 August 2026)
Participants will attend virtual lectures on:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship
  • Leadership
  • Sustainability

Physical Phase (12–18 August 2026, UUM Malaysia)
Activities include:

  • Campus immersion
  • Leadership dialogue
  • Cultural programs
  • Community engagement

ASEAN Future Challenge 2026
A team-based competition to propose solutions for regional issues.

Important Dates

  • Result Announcement: 31 July 2026
  • Program Period: 2–18 August 2026

Participation Fee

USD 75 (approx. MYR 310)

Includes:

  • Accommodation (6 nights)
  • Meals (3 per day)
  • Local transportation
  • Program activities
  • Certificate

International travel and insurance are not included.

Eligibility (ITS Students)

Applicants must:

  • Be an undergraduate (D4/S1) or Postgraduate (S2) student
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student
  • Have good English communication skills
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills

  2. Scanned passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  3. Student ID or Certificate of Enrollment

  5. Motivation Letter
  6. Parent Support Letter (signed, confirming awareness and support)

  • Application Deadline: 6 July 2026 at 09:00 WIB

  • Interview Session: 8 July 2026
